What We Do
The Beginning
Flotnar is a folk band that was formed in 2020, initially starting as a solo performance by Kristian Popec. It quickly expanded with the addition of Luka Buljan and Tin Sačer, leading to the official formation of the band in 2022.
Our Work
In addition to creating music, the team has agreed to offer their services to others. The concept is simple: anyone can present their ideas and concepts, and we will help expand on them.
Our team covers the full spectrum of music creation, from writing lyrics and composing to recording and mixing/mastering. We can handle it all for you.

Bardcore Rock
This medieval-inspired cover of All Along the Watchtower features altered lyrics and showcases layered guitars alongside percussion instruments that evoke a distinctly medieval sound. The arrangement combines this historical vibe with aggressive vocals, adding a modern flair to the classic piece.
Classical Orchestral Saga
This expansive piece features evolving rhythms and melodies that shift throughout its duration. It is structured into multiple progressive chapters, each narrating the tale of Muurn the dwarf.
Tribal Poem
This cover song draws inspiration from an ancient Icelandic poem, featuring guitars with a Slavic resonance and multiple vocal harmonies. The piece is structured into distinct sections, separated by instrumental interludes and solos.
Sci-Fi Sea Shanty
This Warhammer-inspired shanty features harmonizing vocals, some of which are enhanced with voice encoders to create a distinctive helmeted sound for the singing marines. This is just one of the many sound effects incorporated throughout the song, adding depth and atmosphere.
